This mosaic depicts the beautiful landscape with its view to Mount Teide in Tenerife.  This stunning volcano is surrounded by impressive local flora in the national park, where you can see the stunning red tajinastes.

This is a one-of-a-kind design which is a momento of Tenerife.  However, its beauty can be enjoyed by everyone, even if you haven't visited.

This mosaic has been handmade using vitreous, iridescent and metallic glass tiles.  As the light shines on this mosaic it produces different colours emanating from the iridescent tiles.  See how they shine when under natural or artificial light.

The cement board is the substrate of choice, which means that this mosaic is suitable to be installed outside as well as in interiors.  The tiles have been cemented in place and then the mosaic finished with a white grout.  White grout also covers the four sides of the cement board.  The cement board is visible at the back.
