The Hoopoe, known for its striking appearance, can be seen in Tenerife.  With its interesting head adornment, which opens much like a cockatoo, to its black and white striped feathers, it is as noticeable for its colours as for its unique call.

This mosaic would be a wonderful way to decorate a terrace or garden.  A selection of metallic, vitreous and iridescent glass tiles have been used in the design and cemented onto the painted terracotta plant saucer.  The mosaic is finished with a white grout to allow the design to stand out.

Suitable for outdoor mounting.

If sealed, this mosaic could be used as a bird feeder.
