Mosaic Club provides you with the opportunity to work on extended mosaic projects. It gives me great joy to provide new experiences for you so that you can work on different mosaic designs. Mosaic Club is an opportunity for you to explore this craft for one week or to keep coming back time and time again.
The club offers you the opportunity to share an enjoyable afternoon with like-minded crafters, those wanting to learn mosaic techniques and those who just can´t stay away because they have enjoyed workshops at Mosaics designed for you.

July & September 2026 Mosaic Club
Book your place to join Mosaic Club on a Tuesday from 17:00 - 19:00 during July and September 2026.
There are different one-week, two-week, three-week and four-week projects that you can choose from. No previous experience is required to join any of the projects listed. All materials are provided and tuition is given to help you through the designing, cutting, gluing and grouting processes.
PLEASE NOTE: When booking your project you will be requested to confirm the specific weeks that you will attend Mosaic Club to complete your project(s).
One-week options!
Choose A Project:
One-Week Option: Scheduled Mosaic Workshop
You can participate in a 2-hour mosaic workshop which has been scheduled for these particular Tuesdays.
Each week's design is different and therefore you may want to pay attention to the mosaic design on the week which you wish to attend. For more details about each week, head to the monthly workshops listed in the shop and read the description for your selected week´s workshop.
You will be given a step-by-step introduction to using wheeled tile nippers and guided through the mosaic process.
One-Week Option: Mosaic Coasters
Join Mosaic Club on one Tuesday afternoon, from 17:00 - 19:00, to learn about this wonderful art form and make one or two mosaic coasters.
When booking you must state which Tuesday afternoon you will be attending.
Over this thoroughly enjoyable two-hour session you will have the opportunity to learn about this beautiful craft. You will learn how to cut and arrange glass tiles to create a stunning mosaic on your coaster(s). You can choose different colour vitreous glass tiles and design matching coasters or a completely different pattern or image on each.
One-Week Option: Mosaic on 5" board
Join Mosaic Club on one Tuesday afternoon, from 17:00 - 19:00, to learn about this wonderful art form and make a mosaic design of your choice on a 5" wooden board.
A variety of colours of vitreous, metallic and iridescent glass tiles will be available for you to choose from.
When booking you must state which Tuesday afternoon you will be attending.
Two-week options!
Choose A Project:
Two-Week Option: Mosaic Jewellery Box
Join Mosaic Club on two Tuesday afternoons, from 17:00 - 19:00. You will create your own stunning mosaic on the lid of a wooden jewellery box. The box has a mirror on the inside of the lid, which can be stood up and used when putting on your jewellery from the sections inside.
When booking you must state which Tuesday afternoons you will be attending.
You will use mosaic glass tiles, learn how to cut, arrange and glue them to create your mosaic. Different colour options will be available. You will be guided through the grouting process.
Two-Week Option: Mosaic of your design (20cm x 15cm)
Join Mosaic Club on two Tuesday afternoons, 17:00 - 19:00, to complete a mosaic design of your choice on a wooden board measuring 20cm x 15cm.
When booking you must state which two Tuesday afternoons you will be attending.
You will be given a step-by-step guide through the designing process and shown different tiles which can be used in your project. Make your selection from brightly coloured vitreous, iridescent and metallic glass tiles. You will be taught cutting techniques using wheeled tile nippers. After the gluing process is complete you will be guided through the grouting process.
Three-week options!
Choose A Project:
Three-Week Option: Mosaic Serving Tray
This project will be completed over three Tuesday afternoons, from 17:00 - 19:00. When booking you must state which three Tuesday afternoons you will be attending.
You will use ceramic petal shape mosaic tiles to create a stunning pattern. Relax and enjoy taking your time through the designing process. Once happy with the final design, you will glue the mosaic tiles onto the two wooden trays to create your mosaic.
You will be guided through the grouting process.
A stunning mosaic to display and use at home!
Three-Week Option: Mosaic of your design on a Circular Board
Join Mosaic Club on three Tuesday afternoons, from 17:00 to 19:00, to complete a mosaic of your choice on a 12" circular wooden board. When booking you must state which three Tuesday afternoons you will be attending.
You will be given guidance through the designing process and shown different tiles which can be used in your project. You will be shown mosaics to inspire you to make your own design. You will be taught cutting techniques using wheeled tile nippers. After the gluing process is complete you will be guided through the grouting process. No previous experience is necessary.
Four-week option!

Four-Week Option: Mosaic Turntable Board
Join Mosaic Club on four Tuesday afternoons, from 17:00 to 19:00, to complete a mosaic of your choice on a turntable board. When booking you must state which four Tuesday afternoons you will be attending.
You can either choose to copy this grape mosaic design, or you can choose different colour glass tiles and make a completely different pattern or image.
You will learn how to cut and arrange the glass tiles to create a stunning mosaic on this turntable board.

Design
Although there are many of my projects on display to give you inspiration, there is always the opportunity for you to add your own artistic flair and ideas to your mosaic design.
Cutting
Whether you are new to using wheeled tile nippers, or have been using them for other projects, I give advice about cutting techniques to use for each project.
Gluing and grouting
You will be able to work through each mosaic process. With me on hand to give advice and help when necessary, you can be sure to produce a mosaic that you will treasure for years to come.

Your Mosaic Process
Mosaic Club gives you time to learn the mosaic skills, plan out a design, then grow in confidence as you complete a stunning mosaic project.
The variety of wood bases and projects available give you scope for creativity. You can create a project for your home, yourself, your family or a friend. You will learn skills, becoming more proficient as the weeks progress.
Once your project is underway, you will have a greater understanding of the mosaic techniques and be inspired for further projects.
You too can create a stunning mosaic with your own design ideas.
A Few Previous Projects
It is my pleasure to share some of the wonderful work that has been completed by you at Mosaic Club.
Whilst I organise the materials and teach the techniques, it is an absolute joy to see you bring your creativity to Mosaic Club and see the range of projects that you produce.
These beautiful mosaic projects have been completed during Mosaic Club over a series of weeks. Most attendees have joined Mosaic Club as complete beginners, and yet were thrilled to produce stunning results. Some even bought tools and kits as they left to continue mosaic making from home.
It was a privilege to teach and welcome families, friends, couples, those visiting Tenerife on holiday, residents, a range of ages, those remembering special loved ones and those celebrating special occasions.

What a pleasant moment! Karen is a true expert who puts her art and mastery within our reach! She explains everything very well and makes sure that everything is well understood, she even gives us advice and remains very available! Mosaic, relaxation and meeting new people - all at once! Very good - I got it as a gift to have some time away from the stressful everyday as a mumlife. It really was a pleasure both the mosaic and meeting all these different lovely people and Karen - everytime I went there were new faces. I had 5 sessions because I made a big piece. Karen is there to guide and help you to any colours, cuts and explain the processes. While you are having a really nice time it all comes together really well! Mine was a big piece but most people made beautiful smaller ones and it only takes one session. I really recommend this activity. Thanks again Karen.
