Living in Tenerife has inspired many of my mosaic designs.  The bird of paradise flower, Strelitzia, prolific across the island, inspired one of my first mosaic designs.  Its beautiful vibrant colours stand proud against its surroundings.  This design is on a purple mosaic background.
